The radiant sunrays can never be ignored as it soaks the moisture of our skin and leaves the skin with acnes and wrinkles that are quite irritating to watch. But practicing some common stuffs and keeping certain things in mind you can definitely protect your skin with sun burns. Here are some best Skin care tips for Summers that would certainly prove beneficial in beating the ill effects of sunrays:

  • Drink plenty of water in a day that should be at least 15-20 glasses a day. This keeps you hydrated and helps flushing the toxic contents from the body.
  • Use sunscreen lotions to provide your skin a protective layer against sunlight. However, it should be kept in mind that the sunscreen should be applied at least 15-30 minutes before exposing yourself to sunlight.
  • Use of moisturizer containing rose water, cucumber or watermelon extracts, aloe extracts are quite beneficial as summer healing option.
  • Avoid wearing tight fitting clothes as they blocks proper breathing and free circulation of the epidermal layer.
  • Exfoliating the full body skin with a scrub gently is also recommended as the body sheds skin cells very fast and hence need to be cleaned.
  • Do not wear closed and tight shoes that block free circulation of air. Preferably you can opt for flats and sandals in place of shoes.
  • It is recommendable to avoid drinking carbonated drinks such as soft drinks and soda. Instead of that, you can drink fresh fruit juices and lemonade.
  • If you have excessive dry skin, you can apply olive oil instead of oily based moisturizers and toners.
  • The sun's rays are the strongest between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. so try to avoid sun exposure as far as possible during the peak hours.
