The Board of control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a squad of 15 members for forthcoming Champions Trophy 2013 to be held from June 06 to June 23, 2013. The second important One-Day International (ODI) Tournament after World Cup will be jointly host by England and Wales.
Indian selectors have dropped Indian Left hand opener Gautam Gambhir and all-rounder Yuvraj Singh from its previous ODI team while Wicketkeeper and Right hand top order batsman Dinesh Karthik has been recalled for the crucial series viewing his current performance in ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) tournament.
Injured Umesh Yadav has also made a comeback in tournament which will strengthen India's pace battery.
