Vindu Dara Singh, son of late actor Dara Singh, was arrested by the Mumbai police for his alleged role in the recently held Indian Premier League (IPL) spot-fixing scandal.
The Mumbai Crime Branch arrested him following his links with the culprits.
As per the television reports, his arrest follows the arrest of Ramesh Vyas, who was arrested on May 15 over his links with the key bookies Jupiter and others who were named by the Delhi police.
Till now, 18 arrests have been made by the police for alleged spot fixing in the latest edition of the IPL 6. The major names among them are Rajasthan Royals players S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan.
