Karan Johar has released the first look and official trailer of his upcoming movie ‘Gippi’ that can be predicted as a simple and sweet story from the trailer.
Karan Johar, best known for his superb direction is stylish presentation will this time coming out with something different this time. His next venture under the banner of Dharma productions “Gippi” is a simple story of a 14 year overweight girl Gippi, played by Riya Vij who falls in love with Taaha Shah in her school.
Directed by Sonam Nair and produced by Karan Johar and Ronnie Screwvala, Gippi will take you back to the school life and is one of the most awaited movies of the year. The film has gained much popularity prior to its release especially among the school going students and likely to become a big success in the box office as most of the Karan Johar movies does.
Earlier last year, Karan released ‘Student of the Year’, which was also based on school story and was a huge success across the country and the expectaions with Gippi are the same.
