Sanjay Dutt to surrender before court, no appeal for pardon

After Supreme Court announced its verdict on Sanjay Dutt's long pending case on 1993 Mumbai blasts case last week, the bollywood actor said he has not appealed for any pardon and will surrender on the given time while addressing to the media on Thrusday. The 53 year old actor broke down while addressing to media and appealed the media for privacy and said, this is really a very tough time for him and he wants to be in peace till he goes in.

He also said that he have highest respect for the apex court, and loves his country and its people. Sanjay was accompanied by his sister and Congress MP Priya Dutt during the press conference.

He resumed all his work again and willing to complete it before he surrenders in front of the court. Right now he is working on different projects including "Zanjeer" remake, "Policegiri", "Munna Bhai 3" and "P.K.".

Actor Sanjay Dutt was convicted by the TADA court for illegal possession of a 9 mm Pistol and an AK-56 rifle that were a part of consignment of weapons and explosives that were brought to India to give results to the conspiracy of serial blasts in Mumbai in 1993. He would have to undergo the imprisonment for three-and-a-half-years and would have to surrender before the court within the four weeks from the verdict.
