'Run For Smile' competition organized to aware Dental Health

The Dental Health Exhibition & Free Dental Health Check-up continued as more and more people visited the hospital premises. This helped a lot in dental health education and promotion amongst general population. MAIDS is the only hospital providing tertiary care services under Govt. of NCT of Delhi. The chief attraction of the day was "Run For Smile” competition undertaken to promote awareness of oral health and hygiene among public in which various people participated.

The prizes were awarded for 1st respectively and many other consolation prizes were also distributed. All the participants received a huge round of applause and appreciation.

A Musical concert was presented by Nitin Dawar. Sri Sri Ravishankar Ji, Nitin is a full time Art of Living faculty and a rising youth icon. He gracefully reverberates the voice of sprituality & youth globally through his simple yet energetic & unique sense of music. He is amongst one of the blessed & selected few singers who sing officially for AOL's globally renowned "Sumeru Sandhya" concerts.

A competition for the foodies: "masterchef" was conducted, in this the faculty of MAIDS got us licking our fingers. After the yummy round a treasure hunt was played. In which the teams were sent on a wild goose chase. ’’TYAG’’, a musical ballet was the pick of the day, in which students and doctors dramatized the story of Lord Ram and King Dasharatha.

It highlighted the selfless spirit displayed by Urmila, Mandvi and Bharat. Everyone enjoyed the musical ballet and also praised the actors of the play for such a splendid performance. The ballet was followed by a splendid dinner. The Utsav is moving on fast, only two days are left. Those seeking free dental check up and dental health packs should hurry up.
