Delhi Points and Warriors teams have won crown in 4thDelhi State Softball Championship in the men and women category respectively.
Championship was organized from December 13 to 15 at Thyagaraj Sports Complex, New Delhi .A Total of 16 teams took part in the men and women sections. Four teams were from different embassies. Thirty-two matches were played in three days.
In the men’s final Delhi points beat BSA team 8-6. In women final Warriors team defeated Strikers 7-6. Jawed Husain and Shipra verma adjudged most valuable players in men and women section respectively.
I M Dutta, President Delhi State Softball association and Secretary Vijay Kumar along with chief guest , Mahanth Surendra nath ,Renu and Naresh Shookeen gave away the prizes.
