30 teams out of 32 have qualified for the 2014 World Cup to be held in Brazil after Tuesday's play-offs. On Tuesday Portugal, France, Croatia and Greece qualified for the World Cup after winning their respective games.
Last two berths will be selected by today's matches between Uruguay-Jordan and Mexico-New Zealand.
Cristiano Ronaldo hat trick helped Portugal to defeat Zlatan Ibrahimovic's Sweden while France defeated Ukraine by 2-0. With this hat trick Ronaldo has up his chances of winning World Player of the Year award.
32-year-old Ibrahimovic said that World Cup without him is not worth anything. He also thinks that it was his last chance to play in a World Cup. He scored twice in the match.
Croatia defeated Iceland by 2-0 even though they were reduced to 10 men. Iceland could not continue their dream of becoming the least populous nation to reach World Cup.
The draw for the group stage of the 2014 World Cup takes place in Bahia, Brazil, on Dec. 6.
