Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar Tuesday accused India for making the situation 'tense' by repeatedly war mongering over deadly clashes in disputed Kashmir.
Pak Foreign Minister said it in her speech to the Asia Society in New York.
Khar said it is deeply disturbing to hear statements, which are upping the ante coming from Indian politicians, and added that the "war mongering" coming from the Indian border was detrimental to the peace process between the two countries.
She further said that the dialogue process should be uninterrupted.
On Tuesday, Indian troops killed a Pakistani soldier in the disputed territory of Kashmir, the Pakistani army said. This was the fifth death in hostilities between the two neighbours during the current year.
In early January, two Pakistani and two Indian soldiers were killed in the worst outbreak of violence in Kashmir since India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire nearly a decade ago.
India and Pakistan have fought three wars since their independence in 1947, two of them over Kashmir.
