Marvel Comics superhero Spider-Man is again set to hit the silver screen with the release of “The Amazing Spiderman” in India this Friday on 29th June.
This will be Columbia Pictures fourth film on of Spiderman series that portrays Spider-Man in film with Andrew Garfield replacing Tobey Maguire as the title role of the superhero. The star cast also includes Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy and Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors.
The story of The Amazing Spider-Man revolves around Peter Parker (Garfield), an exile high school bye who was left by his parents in his childhood to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Peter tries to find out his identity and how he got to be the person he is at present. In the meanwhile Peter finds a mysterious briefcase belonging to his father. Then starts his quest of Peter to understand the mystery of his parents' disappearance that takes him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, Peter will make take the decision for his life ahead to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.
The production of the film was decided after Sony announced the cancellation
of Spider-Man 4. The release date of "The Amazing Spiderman" is
29th June in India. However, the movie will be released then
will released in the United States on July 3, 2012 in 3D and in IMAX 3D.
