Ferrari Ki Sawaari: Movie Review

Rajesh Mapuskar's Ferrari is all set to take you on a ride with the release of his much-anticipated movie 'Ferrari Ki Sawaari' this Friday. Ferrari Ki Sawaari, produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and directed by Rajesh Mapuskar will be his debut as a director. Sharman Joshi, the lead actor will also make his solo debut in a film with the movie hitting the silver screen today countrywide.
Ferrari ki Sawaari is a story about a 12-year-old child Kayo (played by Ritvik Sahore) whose inspiration is Sachin Tendulkar and dreams to play cricket at the Lords Cricket Stadium. His father Rusy or Rustom ( Sharman Joshi) is a honest head clerk at Worli RTO and its very difficult to fulfil his son's dream, though his only goal of life is to fulfil his little boy's dream. Kayo's grandfather Grandpa Deboo or Mota baba (Boman Irani) is a hopeless and frustrated man who is always stuck in the front of TV.
In the meanwhile, Kayo gets selected for a training camp at the Mecca of cricket, Lords. The movie revolves around collecting funds for Rustom's son to send him to Lord's Cricket Ground for a cricket camp. An incident changes the entire thinking of Mota baba and he also joins his son to fulfil the dreams of his grandson. Then comes a wedding planner (Seema Pahawa), who has promised a politician for a sawaari on red-hot wheels, for his son's baraat. She approaches and promises her to pay Rs 1,50,000 to send his son to the Lords.
Now, to fulfil his son's dreams Rusy drives off a slick Ferrari without the knowledge of its owner from his garage beyond his moral values. What happens when the Ferrari hits the road is even more interesting and entertaining.
Sharman Joshi as Rustom has played a wonderful role as a father and some scenes in the movie are really going to touch your heart. Boman Irani as Mota papa is impressive as usual again. Ritvik Sahore as a Kayo has played the role of a true captain and holds the trio team impressively. You will see Paresh Rawal, in a small role, and Satyadeep Misra as coach Vilayat.
