Satyamev Jayate: Around 100,000 people dialed to speak to Aamir

Aamir Khan has a rare ability to make everything a success in which he takes part in. And his recent show "Satyamev Jayate" is no exception. As the first episode of his debut TV show "Satyamev Jayate" went on air nearly 100,000 people dialed in to speak to Aamir Khan to discuss social issues nation facing today.

Out of nearly 100,000 people tried to connect with superstar only around 10 or 11 became successful in talking to Aamir due to time limit, a source from telecom major Airtel, which is facilitating the SMS and dial-in procedures for "Satyamev Jayate" said.

Nevertheless, Aamir made good discussions with the callers.

He gave his opinion on social activist Anna Hazare's anti-corruption movement, female foeticide and other things. He also discussed on the doctors conducting sex determination tests, aborting female foetuses and failure of medical system in taking stringent actions against such offenders..

While talking on Anna’s movement Aamir khan said; "Anna's movement could only be successful towards corruption if every individual has to ask oneself if he or she is associated with corruption or not."

"Only we are the one who can bring the change. As you have already said that once you were a notorious guy and you changed yourself. So if we change ourselves, only then our society can feel the change,” the actor said.
