Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram has defended the nomination of famous cricketer Sachin Tendulkar as the Rajya Sabha M.P. and said that there is nothing wrong in this. He said that entire nation has welcomed the move and there is no reason to oppose this.
Commenting on the issues in which Shiv Sena supreme Bal Thakrey had said that nomination of Sachin Tendulkar as the Rajya Sabha M.P. was the Dirty Picture of the Congress, Chidambaram said that he has not watched the movie Dirty Picture and so can't comment on this.
Chidambaram said that the whole nation has welcome the nomination of Sachin as a Rajya Sabha M.P. and there is nothing wrong in this.
Sources said that regarding the controversy in which it has been said that his nomination can be unconstitutional as sports has not mentioned in the constitution, he said that it has already been mentioned in the constitution and nothing wrong in this. Everyone can understand the constitution.
