Municipal Corporation of Delhi has started sanctioning building plans of industrial plots through online system from today itself. The scheme is for industrial plots forming part of approved layout plan with fresh construction.
Earlier, MCD had launched the scheme of sanctioning of building plans for residential properties only on 1st November 2011. Now the scheme is extended for industrial plots also.
MCD Commissioner K.S Mehra said that till date 650 building plans have been sanctioned online through scheme. The scheme is accepted well by property owners and Architects.
Manish Gupta, Additional Commissioner (Engg.) said that the owners of industrial plots could avail the benefits of the scheme from today onwards. Software for online building plans has been got developed in such a manner that it automatically scrutinizes the submitted building plans with regard to the Building Bye-Laws and Master Plan norms, and within one hour, it automatically rebuts to the applicant or Architect with errors or deviations in the submitted building plans.
