Oscar winner Charlize Theron will be soon honored for decade of film achievements at an upcoming Las Vegas convention of theatre owners.
'The Devil's Advocate' actress got famous in the 1990s by becoming the first South African to win an Oscar in a major acting category.
The actress has been chosen for her career when she receives the Distinguished Decade of Achievement in Film Award at CinemaCon April 26, says a contactmusic.com.
"Over the past decade, Charlize Theron has proven that as an actor, she can do it all. Whether her role be comedic or dramatic, she never ceases to entertain audiences with her unique ability to capture the essence of any character," Mitch Neuhauser , general manager CinemaCon has been quoted as saying.
CinemaCon, will be organized from April 23-26 at Caesars Palace in Sin City.
