Kris Humphries declines generous settlement from Kim Kardashian

Kris Humphries, estranged husband of Kim Kardashian was offered 'generous' divorce settlement by Kim Kardashian, although the NBA star is said to be reluctant to accept this offer, says reports.

The 31-year-old socialite, who filed to terminate the marriage after just 72 days in October, is said to have offered a figure in an effort make their split complete.

Though, a new report claims that the 27-year-old basketball star and his legal advisors are looking for 4.3million pounds and the offer given by her was less than that.

"Kris is dragging it out. Kim is ready to move on, but Kris is hoping that stretching it out will get him even more money," Contactmusic has quoted a saying to E! News.

''There is a fair offer on the table, but he just won't sign it.''

Humphries had formerly denied reports that he is asking for 4.3million to remain silent.

"No demands have been made. While we are encouraged to see an apparent willingness by the other side to put big numbers out in an attempt to settle Mr. Humphries' claims, we respect and will continue to observe the integrity of the legal process," a statement from his lawyers that has been given in to Life 'n' Style magazine says.

"One thing is certain: Kris Humphries intends to set the record straight," it says.
