Shakira and her boyfriend Gerard Pique have become proud parents of a baby boy just two days after Christmas.
25-year-old Spanish footballer announced the happy news on a social networking site in Spanish. It read, "Our son has been born! We are very happy! Thanks to all for your messages."
Shakira met Pique on the set of the video for the South Africa World Cup theme song Waka Waka - This Time for Africa.
Gerard Pique is the center back player for FC Barcelona and also of Spainish National team.
Shakira and Pique have been in relationship with Pique since March 2011.
