The veteran diva of bollywood Sridevi is all set to roll back on the silver screen with the release of her upcoming movie "English Vinglish" this Friday. Much anticipation has been already made prior to the release of English Vinglish making the film the most awaited movie of the year with Sridevi hitting the screen after a gap of 15 years.
Story:
English Vinglish is the story of a Pune based devoted housewife Shashi Godbole (Sridevi, who lives with her husband (Adil Hussain) and two children Sagar and Sapna. With Shashi's husband has no time for conversation with his wife, her daughter Sapna always makes fun of her inability to speak English. The only affectionate in her family is her son Sagar, who is Shashi's real companion.
Shashi loves cooking and also runs a part time business of making laddoo. Though, Shashi is perfect in all aspects but her daughter feels embarrassed of a mother who did not know to speak English.
The movie proceeds with daily humiliation and taunting to Shashi but the humiliation became out of acceptance one day when her Husband makes fun of her saying "My wife was born to make laddoos."
Thereafter, her niece motivates her to learn English saying you are not born for making ladoos only. After that, she makes a call to a English Tuition center in New York City and the fun begins with lots of interesting sequences and some superb piece of acting by beautiful and charming Sridevi.
Even after a gap of 15 years her sparkling eyes will make you stick to the seat. And event today it goes without saying that the diva is a expression queen.
So, watch out English Vinglish for Sridevi and you will not be disappointed.
