Story:
Story of Student of the year is about three people: Rohan, Abhimanyu and Shanaya. Rohan is from a niche family but has a complex relationship with his father. He has to take his approval before doing anything. Shanaya is the childhood sweetheart of Rohan and has everything perfect in her life or does she? Abhimanyu is from a middle class family who wants to be the best in everything and is very competitive. He slowly develops a hidden crush for Shanaya.
They study in St. Teresa one of India's premier academic institutions. Both Rohan and Abhimanyu somehow feel that winning the prestigious Student of the year trophy will bring significant change in their life.
Kajol have made special appearance in the film.

Pre Review:
The film has all the gradients love, romance, songs, jealousy and no fights, in all a typical KJo style film. Story is a larger then life film for which people go watch his film. Nothing out of box is presented but the film is believed to earn good as theatres have long craved for such film and so does people.
All the three Siddharth, Varun and Alia have made a grand debut with this film. Alia looks hot, charming and beautiful while both Siddharth and Varun with their looks and body will win many female fans.
