New Delhi, May 2 (IANS) Private telecom players such as Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular and Vodafone owe state-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) Rs.550.88 crore as inter-connect usage charges (IUC), the government said Wednesday.
While Bharti Airtel has outstanding dues of over Rs.169 crore, Idea Cellular and Vodafone have to pay BSNL Rs.121.36 crore and Rs.49.54 crore, respectively, Minister of State for Communications and IT Milind Deora said in a written reply to the Lok Sabha.
The other firms which also owe money to BSNL includes Spice Cellular, Aircel and Dishnet.
