United Kingdom,Cinema/Showbiz, Wed, 02 May 2012 IANS

London, May 2 (IANS) Actor Daniel Radcliffe is set to play a doctor in a yet-to-be-titled TV drama about Russian doctors in World War I.

The Sky Arts project will also star Jon Hamm. The pair will play the same doctor, with Radcliffe portraying the man's younger self, while Hamm will appear in his later years in the four-part drama, reports

"This is a great role for Daniel and he's pretty excited about the prospect of working with Hamm. He's a big 'Mad Men' fan and feels he can learn a lot from Hamm," said a source.

"But he knows all about Daniel's qualities, too, so he'll also be doing some learning," said the source.

The series will incorporate some dark humour as the doctor attempts to overcome self-doubts about his competence.
