New Delhi, May 1 (IANS) The month of May started on a warm note as the mercury shot up to 36 degrees, three notches above average, Tuesday. The met department has forecast a further increase in temperature Wednesday.
While the minimum temperature was recorded four notches below average at 21 degrees, the humidity wavered between a high and low of 53 and 25 percent.
According to India Meteorological Department, the sky will be clear Wednesday and the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 38 and 22 degrees respectively.
