London, May 1 (ANI): Charlize Theron, who recently adopted a baby boy named Jackson, has revealed that she had always wanted to give a home to a child since she was just eight.
The Oscar-winning actress made the revelations in an interview saying that she always knew it would happen.
"My mother found a letter that I wrote when I was eight years old that said, 'Would you please take me to an orphanage so that I can go and adopt a baby?' I always knew I would adopt - always," the Daily Express quoted her as telling Access Hollywood.
Theron, 36, who stars in upcoming movies 'Snow White And The Huntsman' and Ridley Scott's 'Prometheus', relies on her mother Gerda to help her look after her son.
"My mum is pretty amazing.
"I left today, I'm getting on a plane back tonight, and she and Jackson were at Macy's shopping so I'm hoping my credit card is OK," she added. (ANI)
