London, May 1 (ANI): Robbie Williams hopes that he gets knighted after landing a spot at Queen Elizabeth II's star-studded Diamond Jubilee concert.
The Take That singer will perform solo at the show at London's Buckingham Palace on June 4 which is being held to mark the monarch's 60-year reign.
The 'Angels' hitmaker joins a host of knighted music stars on the bill, including Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Elton John, Sir Tom Jones and Sir Cliff Richard, and he's hoping his appearance alongside them will prompt the monarch to bestow the same honour upon him.
"I am excited to be in London for the celebrations and honoured to be part of this line-up," the Daily Express quoted him as saying.
"If this doesn't get me a knighthood, nothing will!" he said. (ANI)
