Washington, May 1 (ANI): Ryan O'Neal has chronicled his lost love Farrah Fawcett's heart-breaking last moments in his new book.
The book 'Both of Us: My Life With Farrah' follows their love story, as well as O'Neal's troubled relationship with his daughter, Tatum, and son, Griffin.
It details the couple's split in 1997 and reconciliation years later.
"After the priest leaves, I lie down next to her, wrap my body around her to keep her warm, and then take her hand," CBS News quoted O'Neal as explaining in the book.
"I can feel a steady pulse. Her oncologist Dr Piro comes into the room and says: 'I had hoped I would never have to say this, but I think we should let her go.'"
"I'm left alone with my love.
"I take her hand. I can still feel her pulse, but now it is fluttering. She's trying to let go. Her heartbeat slows, then disappears. On the morning of June 25, Farrah slips into eternal sleep," the 71-year-old added.
The book, due out on Tuesday, includes never-before-seen photographs, as well as love letters and O'Neal's diary entries. (ANI)
