Cairo, May 1 (Xinhua-ANI): A member of Egypt's ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) said the one who said there will be a cabinet reshuffle in the country should be responsible for related media reports, referring to the parliament speaker, official newspaper al-Ahram reported Tuesday.
"The one who said there is a cabinet reshuffle should response for this," the official, Mohsen al-Fangari, was quoted as saying, stressing that the one who announced the suspension of the parliament's sessions will be responsible for it.
Head of the People's Assembly (Lower House) Mohamed Saad al- Katatni decided Sunday to suspend the parliament's sessions until May 6, and urged an immediate dismiss of the cabinet headed by Prime Minister Kamal al-Ganzouri.
Egypt's official MENA news agency reported later Sunday that SCAF chief Hussein Tantawi promised the speaker to reshuffle the government within 48 hours.
However, Mohamed Attiya, Egyptian state minister for parliament affairs, denied the reports Monday night, confirming that Ganzouri 's government will remain till the end of June. (Xinhua-ANI)
