Jaipur, April 28 (IANS) Four men were killed when the car they were travelling in collided with a bus in Rajasthan's Chittorgarh district Saturday, police said.
The mishap occurred in the afternoon near Mangalwar town in the district, some 300 km from Jaipur.
Three of the deceased, Abhimanyu Singh, 21, Narendra Singh, 49 and Jitendra Singh, 48 were residents of Pratapgarh, while the car driver, Praveen Giri, 51, belonged to Udaipur.
"The two vehicles collided head-on. Three of the victims died on the spot, while the other succumbed to injuries at a hospital," a police officer told IANS.
The police had to use iron cutters to take out the bodies from the car.
"We have booked the bus driver for rash and negligent driving. He fled from the spot after the mishap," said the officer.
