Tulisa feared sex tape scandal 'would kill career'

London, Apr 27 (ANI): Tulisa, who mad headlines after her ex-boyfriend leaked her sex tape, has revealed that she feared the incident would kill her career.

The 23-year-old singer, for whom the sex tape ordeal is still a touchy subject, took a big gulp before talking about it.

"It's been torture. I feel like a flipping alien!" the Mirror quoted her as saying.

She was certainly brought crashing down to earth after the release of the tape featuring her with ex Justin Edwards.

Tulisa went into hiding - sleeping on the floor of her bathroom - after the scandal first broke.

"My career could be over and the whole of the UK thinks I'm a slapper.

"I went into denial mode.

"I went home, called my mates, told them the situation and went, 'Come on, let's get p***ed.' Next day, it hit me," she said.

After seeing a still grabbed from the tape, her "heart just sunk into my feet."

Tulisa confided in her 'X Factor' producer pal Beth Hart.

"I said, 'What's it gonna do to my career? Is it gonna affect me?'

"And she said she didn't know. She wasn't sure. Which frightened me even more," she said.

The singer, who performs her new single 'Young' on 'Britain's Got Talent' in May, eventually accepted she'd have to suffer a "rough patch".

"I'm feeling depressed and of course I'm gonna have a nervous breakdown.

"But I sat there, did my crying and I haven't jumped off a building yet," she added. (ANI)
