London, Apr 27(ANI): Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has once again tried to bill the Manchester Derby against title rivals Manchester City as the title decider, saying only a confirmed masochist can enjoy it.
United are three points clear of City on the top of the league table, and would visit Etihad for a highly anticipated derby against City on Monday with many tipping it as the most important fixture of the Premier League season.
Ferguson has claimed his players are ready for the high tempered game.
"You would have to be a confirmed masochist to enjoy it. But we are looking forward to it and the players will be fully prepared for it," The Telegraph quoted Ferguson, as saying.
In the past, Mancini has tried to play mind games by suggesting that United has already won the title. But Ferguson believes that Mancini is just trying to take some pressure off his players.
"Maybe he is trying to take pressure off his own players. But it doesn't matter. It is not going to affect our approach or attitude to the game. We know the exact situation we are in here," Ferguson said.
"We are in a better position than Manchester City. We can get two results they can only get one. They have to win. We can draw or we can win, which is what we will be trying to do," he added. (ANI)
