Washington, Apr 26 (ANI): Jennifer Hudson left a Chicago courtroom again on Wednesday as another witness showed spine chilling photographs of one of her murdered relatives.
Her fiance, David Ortuga, stayed behind and took extensive notes as a retired chief medical examiner identified pictures showing the gunshot wounds to the head of Hudson's 7-year-old nephew Julian King, People magazine reported.
Julian, the son of Hudson's sister Julia, was discovered dead in an SUV three days after police found the bodies of Hudson's mother and brother in a South Side house in 2008.
Hudson's former brother-in-law William Balfour, who once was married to Julia, is on trial for the killings.
Prosecutors claim that he murdered them in a jealous rage over what he thought was another man in Julia's life and after she vowed to divorce him.
Julia has been at her sister's side during the trial. A day earlier, both Jennifer and Julia Hudson had also exempted themselves to avoid being present when jurors we're shown bloody images of their mother, Darnell Donerson, 57, and brother Jason King, 29. (ANI)
