New Delhi, April 26 (IANS) It was a cloudy morning in the capital Thursday with the minimum temperature settling two notches below average at 22.6 degrees Celsius. The met office has forecast rains later in the day.
"The skies will remain partly cloudy and thunderstorms accompanied by rain will take place in some parts of the city," said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 36 degrees Celsius, added the official.
Wednesday's maximum temperature was recorded at 35.6 degrees, three notches below average while the minimum was 22.6 degrees Celsius, two notches below average.
