London, Apr 25(ANI): Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has put end to question marks about his future at Santiago Bernabeu, saying there is no reason why he should leave the club.
The vacancy at Mourinho's former club Chelsea has ensured that his future is again the subject of avid debate but with Madrid just 180 minutes away from delivering Mourinho a record-equaling third European Cup, he has given the clearest sign yet that he will stay.
Madrid will face German giants Bayern Munich on Wednesday for the second leg of their Champions League semifinal at Bernabeu.
Munich holds a 2-1 lead heading into this game, and a win for any of these European bigwigs would see them face Chelsea in the Champions League final in Munich.
"I have a contract and there is no reason why I wouldn't stay. It is better to stay at a club for four or five years. At the moment my future is not important but I think I will be here next season," The Telegraph quoted Mourinho, as saying.
"I have a contract and once we arrive at the end of the season I will have time to speak with the players and the directors and we will decide what is best for me, for the club and for the squad," he added. (ANI)
