London, Apr 25 (ANI): Even though Bayern beat Madrid 2-1 in the first leg of the Champion's League semi finals, Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo said that they were 'white hot' and all set to face the German club in the decider.
Ronaldo said that he is hoping that his club scores the first goal, in the second leg semi-final against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
"I hope the Bernabeu and our fans score the first goal. It's fundamental for us to get to the final. It's very important for the players, for Madrid and for the fans around the world," The Sun quoted Ronaldo, as saying.
Ronaldo claimed that it was 'important' for him and his fellow team-mates to get support from their fans, once they are on the pitch.
"The fans have to be the most important thing for us the moment we come on the pitch because we do feel their support. If we're all together things will go well. If the players feel the love of the fans on the pitch we will be more confident," he claimed.
However, reacting to Ronaldo's comments, Bayern's goal machine Mario Gomez warned saying, "We're not scared of Madrid." (ANI)
