London, April 24 (ANI): Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have not yet confirmed a date for their wedding, but the couple looks set to start their days as husband and wife on their own doorstep as building work on their French mansion nears completion.
A huge white hall, which is thought to be where the reception will be held, is very near its finished look.
Scaffolding and heavy machinery were spotted on the property, earlier this year, as the luxurious accommodation was covered in fallen bricks and rubble.
The new finished article looks superb and will be perfect for the most anticipated showbiz wedding of the year, the Daily Mail reported.
As with most celebrities, Brad, 48, and Angelina, 36, will be desperate for some privacy on their big day and the expansive size of the 35million pounds estate in the South of France will host them well.
The Miraval property already has a small chapel built on it so guests will be able to enjoy the intimate ceremony and then move round to the reception hall to continue the celebration.
No official date has yet been given for the wedding but it is rumoured they could be saying their vows as soon as soon a July 4, because all air space above the grounds has been closed until further notice.
They bought the property back in May 2008 and Pitt has spent a lot of time personally over seeing its renovation.
The fourteenth century masterpiece is classified as a Historic monument and gives the pair their desired privacy as it sits in a tiny village called Brignoles, not far from the city of Aix-en-Provence, part of the French Riviera.
Many of the wedding guests will be expected to be sleep at the lavish property also as the chateau boasts 35 bedrooms.
There is also a lake, swimming pool, fountains and fields surrounded by a huge forest to give the couple and their children Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne plenty of roaming space.
The estate is surrounded by water with twenty fountains, aqua-ducts and a stream that runs through hidden tunnels and into the moat, which fills the lake.
Situated at an altitude of 1150 ft, and spanning 1000 acres, 75 acres are devoted to vines, which provide wine for a successful vineyard.
It was back in 2009 that plans for work on the chateau were revealed when it was said that the couple wanted to add to the estate to give it a more 'contemporary feel'.
Their wish-list includes hot tubs, steam rooms and a spa, as well as a new gym and a larger wine cellar.
And while the property already has a helicopter landing - the two keen pilots also want to improve those facilities.
Brad - who is also a motorcycle enthusiast - is even said to want to build a motorbike track.
Security is also high on the list of improvements. The couple want to install a surveillance centre, spy cameras, alarms, and infrared sensors.
It is believed that builders are working hard to have the venue ready for September.
Although the couple always said they would never tie-the-knot until gay marriage was legalised in America, Brad told The Hollywood Reporter earlier this year: "We're getting a lot of pressure from the kids. It means something to them."
And when his brood of six asked him to "get mommy a ring," Pitt said he acquiesced and said: "Okay, I will! I will." (ANI)
