London, Apr 24(ANI): Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has taunted title rivals Manchester City for trying to buy success, and believes their huge financial backing doesn't really affect anything.
City's Middle-Eastern owners have already invested over a billion pounds on the club, but Fergie insists his side have won their trophies by fostering young stars, and not just by splashing the cash.
"The match is not completely between passion and money. City are incredibly rich but that doesn't change things," The Sun quoted Ferguson, as saying.
"The difference is we have won things with very young players but I don't want to make out that this match is between money and passion," he added. (ANI)
