London, Apr 23(ANI): An academy boss at Premier League club West Brom, Mark O'Shea, has been arrested over allegations of a sex attack on a young boy in the changing rooms.
The club confirmed that Mark O'Shea has been arrested after his colleagues became "concerned" about his behaviour towards some schoolboys.
"A 34-year-old man from Sutton Coldfield has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on a child under 13 and bailed while further enquiries take place," West Midlands Police said.
It is believed some trainees were uncomfortable that O'Shea showered with them at the club's Halfords Lane training complex.
A furious parent also turned up at the training ground and threatened O'Shea to "tear his f****** head off".
"Everyone is in shock. Coaches at big academies can become Gods to these boys. This is a nightmare made flesh," The Sun quoted a parent, as saying. (ANI)
