Mulligan weds Mumford

London, April 23 (IANS) Actress Carey Mulligan married folk rocker Marcus Mumford in a countryside ceremony.

They exchanged vows in a converted barn in Somerset and the groom's father John, presided over the service.

The venue was decorated with hay bales and Mulligan wore a full-length, backless ivory dress, while eight bridesmaids turned out in turquoise, reports contactmusic.com.

The guest list included Colin Firth, Jake Gyllenhaal and Sienna Miller, as well as Mumford's band mates, who played at the reception in a marquee attached to a cowshed.

Celebrity snapper Rankin was the official wedding photographer.

The newlyweds began dating last year months after Mulligan split from actor Shia LaBeouf.
