Kolkata, April 22 (IANS) Aiming to return to her roots, Kolkata-born Bollywood actress Nisha Kothari Sunday expressed her desire to work in Bengali films with directors like Rituparno Ghosh.
"I want to work in Bengali movies. I was born in Kolkata and I know the language. I would love to work with Bengali directors, like Rituparno Ghosh," said Kothari while talking to reporters here.
Kothari, who was in the city for the launch of cosmetic and kitchenware products of the URO group, also expressed excitement over her new avatar as a middle-class girl in her upcoming movie "Stalker".
"In this movie I play a middle-class girl. The movie will also have two new actors. The movie is produced by Ram Gopal Varma productions," she said.
Another Bollywood actor Aftab Shivdasani, who was also present at the launch, expressed his desire to work in Bengali movies in the coming years.
"I want to work in a Bengali movie, but till date I haven't got any offers for doing a Bengali movie," he said.
Aftab is currently working on his new film '1920- Evil Returns' which is sequel to a 2008 horror film '1920'.
