Mumbai, April 21 (IANS) Power utility major Tata Power will launch a nationwide energy conservation campaign involving school students and its employees to mark Earth Day, celebrated world over April 22 every year, a company official said.
"The company will undertake nationwide energy conservation initiatives through its energy conservation club - Club Enerji," the official said here Saturday.
"Mini-Club members, who are school students affiliated to the club, will display creative posters and banners at various traffic signals across Mumbai about importance of energy conservation," the official added.
Employees of Tata Power in various parts of the country will participate in the campaign under the company's new initiative called 'Greenolution', which aims to create awareness about environment and sustainability issues, the official said.
