I'm not bisexual: Jessie J

London, April 21 (IANS) British pop star Jessie J has opened up about her sexual orientation and revealed that she was not a bisexual.

She took to Twitter to clarify doubts over her sexual orientation after a new, unauthorised biography on her -- "Who's Laughing Now" by author Chloe Govan claimed she was bisexual.

The singer branded the report as boring and untrue on her Twitter account, reports dailystar.co.uk.

"It's funny how many people I've dated slept (sic) with that I've never even met according to the tabloids. But what's that?! *whispers because its a secret* I'm really a lesbian?! Ha! "Thanks for writing yet another boring untrue story," she posted.

"I thought I was still dating Tinie (Tempah), NO Ellie G (Goulding), NO Mark Wright... bla bla bla! cantkeepup none of its true," she added.

According to the writer of the biography, Jessie J was told to keep quiet about her love life for fear of alienating fans.

"Jessie might have been with boys in the past - but she is 100 per cent gay. Jessie was openly lesbian and didn't hide it. She was advised not to come out though," Govan said.

Certain people thought being bi was trendy, exotic and a fashion statement. It would increase her allure. Being gay would alienate people," the writer added.
