Katy Perry wants Russell Brand back

Washington, Apr 18 (ANI): Katy Perry apparently wants to give her relationship with Russell Brand another chance.

The British Comedian had filled for divorce from the 27-year-old after just 14 months of marriage in December, citing "irreconcilable differences", but it seems that now the pop star has had a change of heart.

"Katy's been trying to get him back!" the Us magazine quoted a close friend of the star as saying.

"She's a lost soul right now," the source said.

According to an insider, the singer's solo trip to India, the same place where she wed Brand, 36, in 2010, led to stirring up of old feeling.

"She'd already been missing Russell," an insider explained.

"Being back there stirred up even more old feelings," the insider said.

Perry may pine for her ex, but a friend of the singer insists that reconciliation with Brand, who had a series of flings in the wake of filing for divorce December 30, is a long shot.

"Right now, Katy and Russell are trying to get to the point where they can at least be friends," the friend added. (ANI)
