New Delhi, April 17 (IANS) Despite below average temperatures, it was a hot and sunny day in the capital Tuesday with the maximum temperature recorded at 34.1 degrees Celsius. The met office has forecast similar weather Wednesday.
The day's minimum temperature was two notches below average as well at 19.7 degrees Celsius.
The humidity levels wavered between a high of 78 and a low of 33 percent.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the skies will remain partly cloudy Wednesday and the maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 35 and 20 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Monday's maximum temperature was 35.6 degrees Celsius, a notch below average, while the minimum was recorded at 18.3 degrees -- three notches below average.
