London, Apr 16 (ANI): Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand says he couldn't care less where the the club wins the trophy, as long as they win their 20th Premier League trophy.
United gained a comfortable 4-0 home win over Aston Villa, to restore their five-point advantage at the top of the score table.
"I couldn't care less. As long as we get the trophy, I couldn't care less where we win it. The fans would love it but as long as you get your hands on the trophy you would take it in the back garden," The Sun quoted Ferdinand, as saying.
Fedinand revealed there was no need for Alex Ferguson to urge his players to add to their 'goals-for' column because they 'know the ropes by now'.
"We know the score; the manager doesn't need to tell us. We know we have to score goals and, if we are on top, we have to punish teams. This season we haven't done it as much as we should have," Ferdinand said.
The Manchester derby in Etihad on April 30 would be the 'decider' as to which Manchester club gains victory in the English Premier League. (ANI)
