Chennai, April 16 (IANS) Automobile-maker Hindustan Motors Ltd Monday announced the launch of upgraded Mitsubishi Montero, a sports utility vehicle.
In a statement, Hindustan Motors said the value-added features include new muscular coloured front bumper, new chrome radiator grille, new finish on power window panel and new stitch design on leather seats.
According to the company, Montero's other features like 3.2 litre dual overhead camshaft (DOHC) diesel engine with intercooler and turbocharger and others continue to provide the vehicle the power and thrust. The vehicle is available in white, black mica and cool silver metallic shades.
The company also announced the repositioning of Mitsubishi's sedan Cedia at Rs.799,000 ex-showroom New Delhi.
Hindustan Motors has a technical collaboration with Mitsubishi Motor Corporation of Japan to make and market some of the latter's models in India.
