London, Apr 16 (ANI): The world of the WAGs is being brought to the London stage and will even star real-life WAG Jessica Lawlor, partner of Aston Villa's Stephen Ireland.
'WAG! The Musical' will take to the stage of the Rose and Crown Theatre in Walthamstow, east London, in June, the Daily Star reported.
Lawlor, 26, will play WAG Victoria, but she insists that the role is not a 'real' reflection of WAG life.
"It's called WAG - the Musical, but it's not quite what it sounds like, it's about women in general, as well as exploring the obsession with the whole WAG culture," the Daily Mail quoted Lawlor as saying.
"It's all tongue in cheek. I play an over-the-top character, she's very bitchy, so it makes it a very fun one to play. I've plenty of experiences to draw on," Lawlor added. (ANI)
