London, Apr 16 (ANI): Wayne Rooney's younger brother spent the night behind bars after he was arrested and charged with drink driving.
Graham was arrested in the early hours as he arrived home at his parents' luxury 450,000-pound house in Liverpool.
The 24-year-old amateur footballer, who has a striking resemblance to his 180,000 pound-a-week superstar brother, was held in custody for more than 14 hours.
Graham Rooney, who was arrested and changed with drink-driving, is the younger brother of Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney. He now plays for East Villa in the Liverpool County Premier League
He was then bailed to appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court next month.
The brothers are known to be close and regularly spend nights out together.
The pair's former boxer father, also called Wayne, is currently on bail while Merseyside Police investigate allegations of suspicious betting.
The allegations surround Motherwell's Steve Jennings, who was given a red card after swearing at a referee in a match against Hearts in December.
Eight other men were arrested including the father's brother Richie. All nine deny any wrongdoing.
"Rooney has been charged with driving a motor vehicle while over the limit and bailed to appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court on May 14," the Daily Mail quoted a Merseyside Police spokesman as saying. (ANI)
