Dhaka, Apr 16(ANI): Stuart Law will step down as the Bangladesh cricket team coach in June for family reasons.
"It is a matter of great regret for us to inform you that our head coach Law has decided to resign from his post in June for family reasons," The News quoted BCB media committee chairman Jalal Yunus, as saying.
The high point of Law's coaching tenure came at the Asia Cup last month, when Bangladesh defeated heavyweights India and Sri Lanka during the group stage before narrowly losing the final to Pakistan.
Law, who played one test and 54 one-day internationals for Australia, became Bangladesh's head coach in July 2011 on a two-year contract, replacing compatriot Jamie Siddons. (ANI)
