Khar welcomes Bangladesh cricket team's decision to play two matches in Pak

Lahore, Apr 16(ANI): Pakistan Foreign Minister, Hina Rabbani Khar has welcomed Bangladesh's decision to tour the country for a two -match itinerary

Khar said the fact that the Bangladesh cricket team has decided to visit Pakistan was a heartening gesture.

She was speaking after presiding over the closing ceremony of a golf championship at Royal Palm Golf and Country Club in Lahore, The News reports.

Pakistan is set to host international cricket after a three- year hiatus with Bangladesh agreeing to play two matches in the country this month.

Both the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have agreed to the two-match itinerary and tabled their proposal to the ICC executive board. (ANI)
