Beijing, April 15 (IANS) An earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale jolted Vanuatu Sunday morning, according to the China Earthquake Networks Centre.
The temblor that hit Vanuatu at 6.05 a.m. had its epicentre, with a depth of 30 km, at 19.0 degrees south latitude and 168.9 degrees east longitude, Xinhua quoted the centre as saying.
The island nation is located in the South Pacific Ocean.
