London, Apr 15(ANI): Barcelona star Lionel Messi has shrugged off suggestion that facing Chelsea in the Champions League semifinal would be a walk in the park for them, and said they will take the Blues seriously.
Barcelona will visit Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea for the first leg of the Champions League semifinal this week, and Messi believes they will treat the London-based club with utmost respect.
"There are no easy games when you reach the knockout stage. Our opponents are there on merit and we do not take any threat likely. There is no room for complacency or presumption," The Sun quoted Chelsea, as saying.
"Chelsea are playing without expectations or pressure in some respects because everyone expects Barcelona to win. But they have vast experience and we will treat them with the utmost respect. Games in the past have been very close, there was not much in them," he added. (ANI)
